Using the Navigator Feature

The Navigator feature allows you to move to any question or section of the test. You can choose to begin the test in any section or go to any particular question at any time during the test. You can also use Navigator to review the questions you flagged for review. To view the Navigator screen, select the Navigator button in the lower right corner of the screen.

Blue bars label the different areas of the Navigator screen. The name of the test section appears on the left side of each bar. The Navigator screen contains three columns. The first column is the Question column, where you will find the list of the question numbers and test directions.

The second column is the Status column; values here are either Complete, Incomplete, or Unseen. Complete indicates that test directions have been viewed, a selection has been made for a multiple-choice question, or at least one character has been typed in the answer box for a written assignment. Incomplete indicates that a question has not been answered. Unseen indicates that a screen has not been viewed.

The third column, Flagged for Review, indicates the questions and the directions screens that you have flagged for review. If you checked the Flag for Review button on a question screen, a flag appears beside that question on the Navigator screen. In the example below, questions 2 and 7 were flagged for review.
