Eligible public school educators and educator preparation faculty will be appointed by Evaluation Systems group of Pearson to participate in test development conferences/meetings.
Content Advisory Committee member. Educators who are subject mattter experts are asked to review draft test materials which include test frameworks and test items.
Equity Advisory Panel member. Educators will review test materials for potential sources of bias according to established review criteria pertaining to test content, language, offensiveness, and stereotypes. Members make recommendations that will help prevent potential bias that would disadvantage a person because of her or his gender, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, special needs, or cultural, economic, geographic background.
